I bought this item to see if it would help with some chronic pain that I've been having for the past several months to my hip and back area. I've had an X-ray and MRI of the affected area and both came back as not finding anything significant. I must've injured some soft tissue somehow and possibly re-injuring it or it just wouldn't heal for some reason. I do want to emphasize that while my pain has been chronic - I've had it every day for months - it is only mild and NOT debilitating in any way. I function normally and even exercise regularly with the pain. But I have been wanting the pain to go away and would like to do that without having to take some sort of pain medication every day.
