I bought this for my dog, he has arthritis all the way down his spine. I do one minute and then move down until I get to the top of his tail, then do three minutes. He loves the warmth and he gets all relaxed and falls asleep, it gives him some relief before bed time. I also used it on my other dogs leg for her arthritis, she isn't limping anymore.
