I ordered this as a gift. I already have one that I bought 4 years ago. It is truly amazing! Yes, it works to relieve pain - arthritis, sprained muscles etc, but it also works to accelerate healing on cuts, no matter how small or big ( even when I have had to get stitches I still used it to speed up the healing process). I fractured some bones in my hand and had to wear a removable cast but I also used this item every day (without the cast on). It helped me heal and the orthopedist was very happy with how well I healed and I'm 66 and have osteopenia! So I love this thing. Yes, it's pricey but you will not regret buying this.
